MUSIC AWARDS
The Scottish Music Awards 2013 are open for nomination submissions beginning September 1st 2012 until June 30th 2013.
The Nominee must have been born in SCOTLAND OR The Nominee must have lived in SCOTLAND for a period of at least two consecutive years in his/her lifetime OR The Nominee must have lived in SCOTLAND for a period of at least six consecutive months within the past five years.
Release Requirements:
The nominee must have released a Recording (CD, Cassette, LP) to radio or retail or online or through a record release party between January 1st 2012 and June 30, 2013. Proof of release date may be required, which can include press releases, reviews, receipts, or proof of delivery to retail.
Individuals or groups are encouraged to make nomination submissions on behalf of themselves.

INDUSTRY AWARDS
The Scottish Music Industry Awards 2013 are open for nomination submissions beginning September 1st 2012 June 30th 2013.
Email the information of the person to be submitted to
info@scotmusicawards.co.uk.
Please include as much information on that person as possible, including all contact information.
On July 9th 2013 an announcement will be made through a press release and on The Scottish New Music Awards website as to who the official nominees are for each category.
During the week of June 9th 2013, an interactive, online voting system will be in place on The Scottish New Music Awards website allowing anyone to vote for their favourite nominee in each category.
Voting will end on August 24th 2012.
All votes cast will be verified and the winners announced at the Scottish Music Industry Awards ceremony to be held on Sunday, September 1st 2013.
